School Motto - A Heart for Mind and Spirit

The motto reflects the unique place St Thomas’ occupies within the community.  StThomas’ is a centrepoint or heart where students, staff, parents, the Church and local community connect–a heart for mind and spirit.  The word heart is also intended to reflect the warmth and care that is evident with in the St Thomas’ community.

School Logo

The logo provides a visible articulation of the school, connection to the community, and the school’s religious identity. The logo shows three hands representing the School, Church and wider community coming together to form the shape of a heart. The heart also represents the Sacred Heart, which is an important part of St Thomas’ heritage and one of the main symbols in the school crest.
